Using the platform

You need an account to join a league, sign up for a session or manage an organization. You must be 18 or over. Keep your login to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.

Use the platform for organising and playing sport. Do not use it to harass anyone, to post content you do not have the rights to, to scrape it, or to break the law.

What we are, and what we are not

We provide software. The leagues, sessions and venues on the platform are run by independent organizations, not by us. They set their own prices, rules, schedules and refund policies. They are responsible for what they run and for the accuracy of what they publish.

If a game is cancelled, a court is locked, or a season does not go ahead, that is between you and the organization. Tell us anyway. Every public listing has a report link and we do act on reports.

If you run an organization

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, for the safety of your venue and activities, for having whatever insurance and permissions your activity requires, and for the way you treat your members' data. Do not list a facility you do not control.

You are the merchant for your own charges. Payments from your players and renters go to your own connected Stripe account, and you handle refunds and disputes for them.

Money

Some parts of the platform are free and some are paid. Subscription plans are billed monthly and you can cancel at any time, which stops the next renewal. We do not refund part of a month you have already started.

We charge a transaction fee on registrations, pickup signups and venue bookings. The fee for your plan is shown on the plans page and is applied when the payment is taken. Depending on your plan and your setup, that fee is either added to what the payer sees or deducted from what you receive. Either way it is shown before anyone pays.

Stripe's own processing fees are separate from ours and are set by Stripe.

If we change our fees we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.

Content you upload

Photos, logos, descriptions and messages stay yours. By uploading them you give us permission to store them and to show them where you asked us to show them, such as on your public league page or venue listing.

Only upload images you have the right to use. We can hide or remove content that is reported and found to break these terms, and we can remove a listing that is fraudulent or unsafe.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform running and we do not promise it will never be down. We ship changes regularly. If we need to take something offline for maintenance we will avoid match days where we can.

Ending it

You can stop using the platform whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.

If we close your organization's account, you can export your data first. If you leave with money owed to you from bookings or registrations, Stripe still pays it out.

Liability

Sport carries risk. Playing, refereeing and using a venue are things you do at your own risk, and the organization running the activity, not us, is responsible for it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from an activity organised through the platform, and our liability for anything else is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We will update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email and update the date at the top. Carrying on using the platform after that means you accept the new version.
